Thingy AQ – Real-time Air Quality and  Bushfire Monitoring System

Originally developed to provide information to first responders and firefighters combating Wildland Fires / Bushfires, the system has been expanded to be a lightweight and easily deployable air pollution monitoring solution that can be installed permanently or quickly during wildland fires or other air quality events. Thingy AQ was originally designed by engineers and firefighters in response to the EPA and their US Federal partners in the “Wildland Fire Sensors Challenge”

Thingy AQ – Bushfire Alert Panel

Developed specifically for Australia, the Bushfire Alert Panel is part of the Thingy:AQ Air Quality Monitoring and Bushfire Early Warning System. The panel provides visual and audible  indication of Bushfire Alerts Events. These events are detected via the Thingy:AQ Sensor Node as a result of processing gas and particulate sensor data and also by the real-time processing of Bushfire messages from the Department of Fire and Emergency Services data feeds.
